DAYS WHICH WE CHERISH

The bygone days of our college life really calls us back. If I can get back my college hood I am ready to forgo every thing. The class rooms , the strikes, the hostel strikes. The ragging days. The ladies used to take our ragging like reciting The National Anthem. We had our internals which was as usual a cheating competition. Even the good students used to cheat or at least compare the answers.
We were the ones who rarely used to study. There was big demarkation between the south indians and the north indians which was indeed ridiculous. Well they used to fight in the hostel. The people from Bihar used to have their own community where u r not allowed to enter. The most important for me was the KUKU shop where we used to take the tea , bread omlette or we used to carry the omlette to the mess to have it. The breakfast was awesome except for the puri sobji. I had a hero puch which I bought in the later stages of the engg. We used to visit Chamunda hills and used to have excellent trips to Brindavan gardens etc. Those having lunch and beer in the Dhaba. Having Dal Roti was excellent. The semester ending and the beginning of the holidays was note worthy. We used to hurriedly pack ourselves and go to the auto stand. Sleeping in the train corridoor and enjoying while travelling together with all my friends was also exciting. and so on --------coming back contd

Hey Anik,
I agree with what you have to say here about getting back to college and Kukus :) ( as a matter of fact i went to kukus for breakfast a couple of weeks back and Prakash Da is as always great with eggs, you always find new addition to the "menu" :D ).
But then there are couple of things that i don't agree with :)... I used to love the puri sabji :) and luckily the divide in our batch was not so much on region but on "who-makes-how-much-trouble" (there was a minority group of studious guys ;) )..
On a more generic note what's happening here... why is everyone so silent???
