During the NIEAA – EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS MEETING held on 12/09/2007 it was unanimously decided to host the Bangalore Meet on 07/10/2007 at the National Games Village Koramangala in Bangalore. And it was also decided to revive the Bangalore Chapter of NIE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION.
On the day (07/10/2007) of the scheduled meet all the NIE ALUMNI Executive Committee members left Mysore at around 7:00 AM, towards Bangalore. <P align=center> <EM>Mr. Mohan Ram, Smt. Vidyaraj, Mr. B.N.Venkatesh rao and Mr. Ashok Anand seen Interacting</EM> The arrangements at the National Games Village, Koramangala were done with the Co-ordination/Assistance of Mr. Anantha Raman a leading Industrialist and a Resident of Bangalore. There was a Registration Counter / T-SHIRT counter / Life membership counter through which the Participants could register themselves for the Bangalore Meet by paying Rs. 500/- and every Registered participant got a special T-Shirt with a “NIEAA-50 YEARS” logo. <P align=center><EM> A section of the Audience</EM>Mr. Ashok Anand Hon. President of NIEAA, welcomed all the dignitaries and introduced the NIE ALUMNI EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS TO THE PARTICIPANTS later he gave a brief talk about all the ongoing activities of NIE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION and also presented a Immaculate Power point presentation about the proposed NIE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION TECHNOLOGY CENTRE at Mysore.
<P align=center> <EM>Photo of some of the participants</EM> The highlight of the Bangalore – Meet was that it was graced by none other than Padmashree Awardee N.R.Narayan Murthy and many more Dignitaries and NIE Alumni Association Members, who gave their precious feedback about the NIE-ALUMNI ASSOCIATION and shared their views / memories of their old college days. The meeting proceeded with all the Alumni members of the Bangalore chapter sharing their old college memories and happenings. The meet saw a total of about 80 Bangalore alumni members attending the function. In the end The Bangalore meet concluded with a sumptuous lunch served to all the participants.
